Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in South Lisbon
A ground-floor flat with terrace, dishwasher and two bathrooms
About this stay
This ground-floor apartment adds a dishwasher to its fully equipped kitchen, a detail that stands out among Barreiro's self-catering listings and makes longer stays noticeably easier. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms suit two couples travelling together without the usual morning bathroom queue, and the terrace gives outdoor space for evening meals once the day's sightseeing is done. A washing machine and sofa bed round out a genuinely comfortable, practical setup. Free on-site parking and free WiFi cover the remaining basics without pushing up the nightly rate. The Transtejo ferry to Terreiro do Paço remains the fastest way to cross the river for most of the properties described here. Praça Vicente Augusto Bolina remains the practical landmark of the town, a few steps from most of the stays listed in Barreiro.

Our take
This suits two couples or a small family who want proper cooking facilities, including a dishwasher, without giving up outdoor space entirely. The two bathrooms alone make it a noticeably easier share than most Barreiro apartments. Solo travellers or single couples on a tighter budget will find better value in one of the town's smaller one-bedroom listings.
- Split cooking duties using the dishwasher to your advantage, since it removes one of the usual frictions of a shared self-catering stay.
- Use the ground-floor terrace for breakfast rather than the indoor dining area when the weather allows.
- Confirm which of the two bathrooms is en-suite if that detail matters to your group's arrangement.
Why we love it
- A dishwasher, rare among Barreiro's apartments
- Two bathrooms for a two-bedroom layout
- A ground-floor terrace for outdoor meals
- A fully equipped kitchen throughout
